About the webinar:
The development of reliable and sensitive HIV diagnostics begins at the most fundamental level: the quality of the raw materials. This webinar will pull back the curtain on the entire lifecycle of these critical reagents, from initial development to final application in diagnostics tests.
This exclusive session will provide an in-depth look at the science and innovation that powers the core component of modern HIV immunoassays from development phase to real-world application.
Key Webinar Highlights:
The development journey: Gain insights into our proprietary processes for the research, development, and production of high purity HIV antigens and antibodies. Understand how our design choices directly impact assay performance.
Exclusive Evaluation Data: For the first time, we will be sharing comprehensive evaluation results. Attendees will see performance data including sensitivity, specificity, results to different variants, demonstrating the reliability of our reagents in real-world scenarios.
Drive Diagnostic Innovation: Learn how access to well-characterized, high-quality raw materials can accelerate your R&D cycle, improve your assay’s performance, and help you bring more robust HIV tests to the market faster.

Speakers:
Jianwen He, Ph.D. Chief Scientist of IVD BU, Director of IVD Raw Material Business, Mindray. He is an expert in the principles, technologies, and clinical applications of in vitro diagnostics (IVD), with a specialized focus on immunodiagnostics. He possesses extensive experience gained from leading roles within global industry leaders. His expertise spans the entire immunoassay development lifecycle, from biological raw material selection and reagent design to kinetics/interference studies, process optimization, and clinical validation. He is a proven leader in troubleshooting and enhancing assay performance for real-world clinical use. Dr. He has published 30 SCI articles and is also editor/associate editor for several books on immunoassay.
Natalia Tamm, Ph.D. Leading Scientific Researcher and Project Manager, Hytest. Since joining Hytest in 2003, Dr. Tamm contributed to a diverse portfolio of R&D projects, building expertise across numerous disease areas. Her work is underscored by deep, specialized knowledge in cardiovascular biomarkers (e.g. BNP, proBNP, and NT-proBNP). Dr. Tamm led the successful development of Hytest’s HIV antibody and antigen products – a highly challenging project requiring deep expertise in various aspects – and will share her insights from this work in this upcoming webinar.
